Once registration is completed, the user is taken to a one time setup screen. Users provide first and last name, country, address, and VAT registration (if applicable). Users then choose date format, paper format (A4 or American Letter), currency, and language. Users may also upload a logo at this time. Once finished, the user may begin use of Invoiceberry.
Clicking Dashboard leads to a Get Started link for creating new clients and invoices as well as a link to customize invoice template and outgoing emails from the Invoiceberry account. Customization of the template includes using your logo or another image if desired, and choosing from four basic invoice templates in blue, gray, pink, or green. Each style may be previewed and then selected. Email customization allows the user to choose what information is included in the email that accompanies the invoice. This includes the invoice number, client company and/or name, amount of invoice and outstanding amount.
Adding a new client is an easy process with fill-in-the-blanks for company information. There is also a place for client contact information (other than the mailing address) and a place for in-house notes that are not shared with the client.
Adding an item is similarly easy, with blanks for the item name, description, price, quantity, and drop down tax menus.
To create a quote, the user simply enters the client, date, PO number, and any discount. A table with item from a dropdown menu of entered items. The description must be filled in, but quantity, price, taxes, line totals, subtotal, and quote total all autofill from saved information. There is a space to set terms and conditions as well as making this a default, an area for notes to the customer, and the option to set an expiry date for the quote.
Users may track expenses with date, category, company, notes, and amount. Reports for clients, payments, expenses, and tax summary may all be generated easily.
